Greater Miami is spread across the mainland, Miami Beach and the islands of Biscayne Bay. The most enjoyable visits pick one or two areas per day and give each one real time, instead of trying to cross the whole county between lunch and sunset.

Start with the neighborhood, not the list
South Beach pairs the Art Deco District with an Atlantic shoreline. Wynwood is known for large-scale murals and galleries. Downtown Miami has the bayfront, Bayside Marketplace and the museums around Maurice A. Ferré Park. Little Havana centers on Calle Ocho and Cuban heritage. Coconut Grove offers a leafier, bayside pace.
Choose a base area for the day and treat any second neighborhood as a deliberate transfer. Miami Beach and the mainland are separated by Biscayne Bay, so a quick-looking hop on a map can take longer than expected in traffic.
Mix indoor and outdoor plans
Heat, sun and sudden rain showers shape a Miami day for much of the year. Pair an outdoor walk with one indoor option, such as a museum or a covered shopping destination, and keep water and sun protection with you.
Museums, historic houses and gardens set their own hours, ticketing and photography rules. Confirm those details with the institution itself; CLICK.MIAMI does not quote prices or guarantee access.
How the attraction listings on this page work
The attractions shown below come from OpenStreetMap, an open map database maintained by volunteers, and passed automated checks for a valid name, a location inside the mapped area and a genuine source record. They are free listings, not paid placements, and they have not been visited or reviewed by CLICK.MIAMI.
Use each listing’s website and map record to confirm whether a place is open and accessible before you go. Advertising on this page is always labeled separately and never changes the order of free listings.
