Where are the imported venues?
Listed records passed automated data checks only — they are not human-verified. Records that passed (valid name, coordinates inside the area, known category, OpenStreetMap provenance, an address or website, no nearby duplicate) appear in the homepage, neighborhood and category directories with © OpenStreetMap contributors attribution. The rest stay private with a reason. Individual venue pages are not created or submitted to search engines.
Authentic venue photographs
527 locations stored · 8 public locations with licensed photos · 422 public locations without photos.
8 licensed photographs saved from Wikimedia Commons, matched to the exact location through OpenStreetMap links and location evidence. Credits and license links appear on each photograph. No licensed match means “No photo available”; no generic photograph is substituted. Reviews and stars remain unavailable.
519 stored locations have no licensed photo. Some photographs are historical and labeled with their dates; they do not establish current operating status. Official website images without reuse permission, logos and ambiguous matches were skipped.
Source-linked photo audit: 448 records checked · 8 photos saved · 440 without an approved photo.
- Wikimedia Commons (429): The Mutiny Hotel download skipped; no retry
- Overpass (406): Batch endpoint blocked; all 448 records successfully audited using public OSM API instead

How to review them
- Sign in with Google on the venue review workspace.
- An administrator role must then be assigned to that account through a trusted backend operation. Signing in alone gives no access, and roles are never granted automatically.
- Once assigned, the workspace shows each staged record with its source link, and lets you approve or reject it with written verification evidence.
